Councils
- Vaccinate large community groups efficiently, safely
- Tailor designed for community exchange programs
Large volume containers are designed to be used safely in publicly accessible areas, allowing staff to vaccinate groups of schools and work places without fear of unintended needlestick injuries. Our Sharpsafe Exchange brand of disposable sharps containers are designed specifically for needle exchange and harm minimisation programs. Easy to use, these containers are also extremely safe with a final closure system that cannot be pried open.
Surgeries
- Dispose sharps and needles safely with ease
- Space saving storage
Large opening aperture allows doctors and clinicians to dispose of needles and sharps without trouble.
Internal safety flaps ensure waste does not fall out in the event of an accidental spillage.
Containers and lids are shaped to be stacked separately, minimising storage space but also maximising containing space when assembled.
Ambulances
- Specifically shaped to fit in ambulance packs
- Secure during use and transportation
Slim design to fit in various emergency and first aid packs, our smaller Sharpsafe containers are perfect for paramedic and ambulance use.
The unique flip-top lid combines security with ease of use, whilst the final locking device ensures total security during transportation.
Research
- Resistant to penetration and impact even after autoclave treatment
- Secure design to prevent accidental spillage
In laboratories experimenting with highly hazardous substances, our Protected Access range of containers are specifically designed to reduce the risk of needlestick injuries. Secondary and final closures prevent accidental spillage, providing extra security that so research can be conducted with peace of mind. In order to maintain the standards of puncture resistance, only virgin polypropylene is used in the manufacture of Sharpsafe containers. The melting point of polypropylene is between 160-170°c thus will resist penetration of sharps even after sterilisation cycles.
